Vortex Play

Vortex Plays are performative and playful actions of highlighting the vertically mapped, subtle energetic centers of the human body. A delicately improvised ritual is carried out by a group of performers in agreement with a volunteer. The volunteer with eyes closed, experiences an immersive performance of touch, sound, temperature, taste, and smell stimulation, and who through the eyes of the audience becomes themselves an object d’art.
