Costumes for a performance by Lucie Tuma at Gessnerallee, Zurich (2020)
Lucie Tuma & Co use the physics and materiality of bells as a springboard for a journey to Ding Dong. The smock-like costumes designed by Claudia Hill are printed with the centuries-old technique Blaudruck (blueprint), which involves printing fabric with indigo dye. Blaudruck is a recognized craft in the list of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Germany.
