Costumes for a feature film by Arielle Javitch with a premiere at Toronto International Film Festival (2010)
Look, Stranger by Arielle Javitch is a psychological portrait of a woman traveling home in a war-torn world, featuring Anamaria Marinca. The anti-war film takes place in an indeterminate time and place with the understanding that any war and its repercussions is to be avoided. Claudia Hill’s costumes reflect that sense of timelessness and refer to the colors of the surrounding landscape in her creations for the film.
