German Designer Claudia Hill Opens Her First Own Store

The German designer Claudia Hill opened her first own store in [illegible] this year, in her home city of Berlin. Of course, for Claudia this is not merely an ordinary retail shop, but a [illegible] connecting art and its audience.

Her new shop is located inside a gallery. To open a clothing store in this [illegible] location is highly unexpected, and the products of the store itself have a “cool color” character, as though even the night had been melted. Her work mixes the dress characteristics of men and women, and the indigo blue of the clothes is dyed with an old Japanese dyeing technique.

These clothes have a captivating charm, and they are very much in Claudia’s habitual style. Claudia also invited some of her former collaborators, for example Forsythe, the photographer Ariko Inaoka and the musician Skuli Sverrisoon, to help give the decoration of this store a distinctive personal style, so that she can pursue both art and fashion without neglecting either.
