Young designer Claudia Hill designed the costumes for Ballett Frankfurt’s new Forsythe premiere

For his new production “Decreation”, the choreographer William Forsythe has worked with the young German fashion designer Claudia Hill for the first time. The premiere of the breathtaking spectacle will take place on 27 April 2003 at the Bockenheimer Depot in Frankfurt am Main. Claudia Hill, who has made a name for herself as a fashion designer above all in New York and Tokyo, designed the costumes for this transdisciplinary premiere by Ballett Frankfurt.

With her designs for “Decreation”, Claudia Hill makes her German debut. The talented artist first studied dance in New York before she went to work as a fashion designer and costume designer. The collaboration with William Forsythe and Ballett Frankfurt brings Claudia Hill back to the dance stage as a costume designer for the first time.

Der Choreograf William Forsythe arbeitete anlässlich seiner Neuproduktion “Decreation” erstmals mit der jungen deutschen Modedesignerin Claudia Hill zusammen. Die Premiere des atemberaubenden Spektakels wird am 27. April 2003 im Bockenheimer Depot in Frankfurt am Main stattfinden. Claudia Hill, die sich als Modedesignerin insbesondere in New York und Tokio einen Namen gemacht hat, entwarf für die transdisziplinäre Urraufführung des Frankfurter Balletts die Kostüme.

Mit ihren Entwürfen für “Decreation” gibt Claudia Hill ihr Deutschland-Debüt. Die talentierte Künstlerin studierte zunächst Tanz in New York, bevor sie sich als Modedesignerin und Kostümbildnerin betätigte. Die Kooperation mit William Forsythe und dem Ballett Frankfurt führt Claudia Hill zum ersten Mal als Kostümbildnerin zurück auf die Tanzbühne.
